Heel pain (Plantar Fasciitis) is caused by the
band running from your heel to the ball of your foot. This band
will raise the arch of your foot causing a pull on the arch as
you push off the ground.
Heel
pain can also be caused by a heel spur- an extra bone growing
near the bottom of the Heel
Bursitis
is the swelling of a bursa-a fluid filled sac that reduces
friction between the ligament and bone.
Symptoms are the
bottom of your foot hurting when you stand especially
first thing in the morning.
Treatment can be medicine or at
last resort surgery.
